CAS CL-5200 Label Printing Scale

The CAS CL-5200-P is a sophisticated label printing scale that is suited to busy supermarkets, butchers, greengrocers, fishmongers takeaway epos system and delis. It can print standard product data as well as ingredients, storage or cooking instructions, as well as detailed traceability details (country of birth, country bred, slaughter house, cutting hall etc)

This CL-5200 model with the “P” suffix includes the dual-sided Pole Display which shows the item name, weight / quantity, unit price, and calculated price on both sides.

The CL-5200-P is Trade Approved for UK retail use including pre-packing, and a conformance certificate is included.

It has 72 preset keys for your most popular items (double to 144 with the shift level) and a total of upto 10,000 items can be accessed using PLU codes depending on memory configuration. The labelling scale features a user-friendly graphic LCD display, high speed thermal label printer and has a large platter size of 380mm x 250mm.

DIRECT PROGRAMMING
The CL-5200-P can be readily used in open price mode, straight out of the box to print generic labels. Simply place your item on the scale, type in the Price per Kg, then press ‘Print’ to print the standard format price label.

For faster use, you can preset your shop details and product data. The CL-5200-P scale can be basically programmed directly from its keypad with the on-screen menu and function keys. You can program product names, update prices and add most other product details such as expiry date, ingredients and traceability data. To edit the label templates and update advanced settings, or if you make changes frequently to your products/prices, then you can use CL Works Pro software – see details below.

LABEL MEDIA SIZES
For labels, you can use either standard CAS Labels (58x40mm or 58x60mm with pre-printed template), or blank labels allowing you to choose from one of 45 pre-designed label formats or customise your own layout and content with the PC software.

BARCODE FORMATS
The CAS labelling scale can readily print embedded barcodes for use with your POS system. The barcode format can be configured to include a prefix, the item code, and either the price or the weight, as required by your POS system. All common 1D barcode formats are supported including UPC, EAN13, EAN13A5, CODE128, CODE39, CODE93, CODABAR, I2OF5, IATA2OF5.
